When we are setting goals and reaching for our dreams, we need to have some safety built up so that we can take bigger risks. Imagine that you are taking a risk of $20,000. If you don’t have any other money, the risk is larger than if you had another $10,000 saved up on the side. The rituals and routines is how we accumulate that safety so that we can take bigger risks towards our dreams and desires.
